Working alongside the seasons….
Winter is rolling around fast.
The long heady days of summer with hedgerows filled to bursting full of life and colour have all but disappeared in the blink of an eye. Long days stretching into evenings spent painting in the workshop, doors wide open with birdsong for company.
The vibrancy of summer has been replaced with short grey days scattered with rain and wind blowing in off the hills. So whilst nature is doing her thing I’ll be taking my que and hibernating to work on sketches, study new blooms from my stash of readers digest and practice new painting skills. If you need me I’ll be cocooned by candlelight, fueled by gallons of strong tea and chocolate digestives.
